The Board of Directors is a group of persons vested with the management of the business and affairs of the ITLC’s organizational life, facility, and grounds. They are responsible for a variety of legal and administrative functions, including:
Supporting the mission: Directors support ITLC’s mission and vision, and ensure that ITLC is using its resources well.
Property management: Directors are responsible for the maintenance, improvements, and security of the ITLC’s properties. They ensure that ITLC’s congregation has a welcoming place to meet Jesus Christ and that its ministries/departments are effective.
Financial management: Directors oversee ITLC’s finances, including ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Legal concerns: Directors are responsible for legal and administrative functions, such as keeping copies of important documents like the mission, vision, and values statement, bylaws, articles of incorporation, and governing policies.
Decision-making: Directors participate in decision-making processes and provide guidance and support to other board members.
